Stage Door School of Dance

Diane Giattino:   Owner/Director - Mrs. G. has been a Community Minded leader for 34 years.  Offering students the very best of teachers and opportunity to excel in Dance for their future, be it recreational or professional. She choreographed for the Bellport Middle School Musical Productions for over 25 years and Choreographed several Children’s Theater Productions at the Gateway Playhouse.

Ms. Mary Giattino: Tap  & Musical Theater Specialists - A Stage Door Graduate & Family member. Mary has brought her talent and desire as far as the Broadway Stage in "White Christmas" assisting the Tony Nominated Choreographer, Randy Skinner & City Centers production of "No No Nanette" with Rosie O'Donnel and Sandy Duncan.  She also was delighted to Dance and be a part of the Kennedy Centers Tribute to Ted Kennedy on his 80th Birthday Celebration.  Special appearance by President Obama was surprise to everyone. As a former Radio City Rockettes, she brings her expertise to her students and thrills them every year with her choreography. Mary is currently teaching tap to the CHILDRENS CAST OF THE BROADWAY SHOW

"BILLY ELLIOT" IN NEW YORK CITY. She is loving it and recommends that everyone go to see the show... It is fantastic....  

 
Ms. Pat Monaco: Ballet/Pointe - Miss Pat was a member of the American Ballet Theater in New York for 9 years. She danced in the same company as Mikhal Barishnekov and many other principal dancers from the company.

She also appeared in the movie, "Turning Point".  

Ms. Tara Barth Schnepf: Ballet/Pointe, Lyrical & Children’s Work - Miss Tara danced with the Eglevsky Ballet Company and was a soloists in many performances.  She also coached the National Dance Champions at Sachem High School. 

Ms. Marissa Rignola: Jazz - Hip Hop - Lyrical - Tap - Miss Marissa has taught at Stage Door for over 10 years and is a favorite, especially with the teens...  Her experience dancing with the Jamie Chandler Torn Company and appearing on MTV has brought excitement to Stage Door.

Ms. Jill McArdle: Ballet/Tap  - Ballet/Jazz - Intro to Dance - Acro - Jill has been at Stage Door for 28 years and still moves like a 20 years old.  She is the Pied Piper of our young dancers and it is hard to break them away as they get older.  Jill gives them the love of dance at a very early age. 

Ms. Wendi McArdle: Ballet/Tap - Jazz - Combo - Intro to Dance - Wendi is a graduate of Stage Door and following in her mothers footsteps.  Wendi brings experience and the love of dance to her students

Ms. Carole Naso: Tap Specialists - Voice Coach - Carole joined us 4 years ago after leaving her successful Dance School business in New Jersey and now we are reaping the benefits of all of her experience.  She performed in Atlantic City on the Steel Pier as a young singer/dancer.  She is truly a EXPERT

Ms. Nuala De George: Modern - Jazz - Hip Hop - Leap & Turn - Nuala joined us several years ago and is the Mother of Modern Dance at Stage Door... She brings all of her performance experience from Las Vegas, Europe, New York City and now she is a Adjudicator at many of the Regional and National Competitions..  Leap & Turn was added to our schedule by her recommendation and we thank her for that.

Ms. Jessica Colosa:  Modern - Ballet  - Pointe - Jazz & Children’s Work.  Jessica is also a Stage Door Graduate and followed her dreams at Towson University in Maryland.  Jessica taught dance classes all throughout her College Career and brought home all of her enthusiasm and talent to our students.  Jessica is the Company Manager and Asst. Studio Manager

Ms. Stephanie Vetichio:  Tap  - Modern -  Jazz - Ballet - Stephanie is a Graduate of Stage Door and majored in dance at Brockport University majoring in Dance and Business.  Steph just returned from and intensive 6 week workshop for a Modern Dance Program.  Her first student teaching was with Mrs. G , then she student taught with Melissa Giattino and just recently worked with Mary Giattino.  All of us G's have had the pleasure of seeing Steph grow as a mature Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer.  

Ms. Cat DeAngelis: Jazz - Ballet - Leap & Turn- Hip Hop - Cat came to us this summer as a Guest City Artists and good friend of Stephanie Vertichio.  Danced and Majored at Brockport and got her   Masters in Dance from NYU.  Cat is a Member of a Modern Dance Company performing in NYC. 

Ms. Lindsay Arndt: Tap - Jazz - Hip Hop - Lindsay is a recent graduate & recipient of our Stage Door Dance Scholarship.  She student taught with Mary G. and Tara.  She is ready to share her knowledge and performance technique with her students & motivate them to have a GREAT TIME TOO!
