Alison grew up on Long Island and studied classical ballet at the Seiskaya Ballet School. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in dance from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and has performed professionally throughout Europe with the touring companies of West Side Story, Cabaret, and Chicago. Alison was an Adjunct Professor of dance at Stony Brook University and Dowling College for over 13 years where she taught a variety of courses including ballet, modern, jazz, improvisation, dance history, and performance. Additional teaching credits include Dancing Classrooms Long Island, which inspired her current pursuit of a Masters in Social Work which will be completed at Stony Brook University in May 2022. Alison aspires to connect her interests in social work with her lifelong experiences in dance. She currently lives in Northport, has a beautiful daughter named Olivia, and is proud to be a part of the Stage Door family.
