Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026 this year. The audition is 2 hours and consists of Ballet, Tap & Jazz dancing taught by a Guest Artist from NYC! All Elite Teachers are on the adjudication panel during the audition. The cost to audition for our Elite Dance Company is $45.
Audition Attire:
• Girl Identifying Dancers: Attire for dancers who identify as girls is a leotard (any color), tights (any color), a ballet skirt may be worn for the ballet portion, and dance shorts may be worn for the tap and jazz portions. Hair should be slicked back off of the face in a dance hairstyle of choice (no ponytails), and makeup is optional.
• Boy Identifying Dancers: Attire for dancers who identify as boys is black pants, a white T-shirt, and slicked-back hair.
• All Dancers: Dancers should bring ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes, and a water bottle. Upon arrival, dancers will receive an audition number.
