Stage Door School of Dance is honored to welcome the incredible Ms. Victoria Casillo, as our upcoming SDSD Elite Company Audition Guest Teaching Artist!
VICTORIA CASILLO
Victoria most recently appeared in the 45th Anniversary Production of NIGHTCLUB CANTATA Off Broadway, where she served as the Assistant Director/Choreographer, Dance Captain, and Swing. As a choreographer, Victoria received a 2019 Motif Magazine Theatre Award for her work on WEST SIDE STORY at the New Bedford Festival Theater. She has served as associate choreographer on numerous productions including I SPY A SPY (World Premiere- Off Broadway), CHRISTMAS IN HELL (World Premiere- York Theatre), PANTS! THE JIMMY PANTS MUSICAL (Off Broadway Developmental Lab), and MARRY HARRY (Feature Film- Amazon Prime). As a performer, Victoria has been seen in WEST SIDE STORY (Paper Mill Playhouse), IRVING BERLIN’S WHITE CHRISTMAS (Ogunquit Playhouse), ANYTHING GOES (North Shore Music Theatre), CRAZY FOR YOU (Rev Theatre Company), Riverside Theater, Westchester Broadway, and many others. A passionate teaching artist, Victoria has toured the country as a Master Teacher and Adjudicator for Turn It Up Dance Challenge, and has taught guest master classes for Dance Masters of America in Hartford. She is also a Master Instructor at the prestigious Lagree Pilates studio, SLT NYC.
ABOUT SDSD ELITE COMPANY AUDITIONS
Auditions for our 2022-2023 Elite Company Dancers will be held on June 5, 2022. Dancers ages 6-18 are welcome to audition. Enrollment in Stage Door School of Dance is not required.
AUDITION TIMES:
- 10:00am-12:00pm – Current Blue Line & New Dancers Ages 6-12 (Registration/Warmup 9:30am)
- 12:00pm-2:00pm – Current Green and Yellow Line Dancers & New Dancers Ages 13+ (Registration/Warmup 11:30am)
- 2:00pm-4:00pm – Current Orange and Red Line Dancers (Registration/Warmup 1:30pm)
