ABOUT THE TALENT SHOW:
- Performers will work closely with Broadway’s Ms. Mary Giattino and Mr. Michael Mastroddi to develop a 1-2 hour Holiday Talent Show performance on December 3. Talents may include solo dances, group dances, songs, instrument playing, comedy, poetry, acting, magic, or any other talent you might be interested in showcasing.
- Performance attendees will enjoy a fabulous holiday show featuring their dancers, hor’doeurves, and more right here at the studio!
WHO MAY PARTICIPATE:
- All SDSD dancers between the ages of 6 – Adult. (New!)
WHAT’S INVOLVED:
- 11/04: Deadline to sign up to participate (New!)
- 11/6: Rehearsal 1 with Ms. Mary & Mr. Michael (10am-12pm)
- 12/3: Dress Rehearsal 2:00pm-4:00pm
- 12/3: Performance 6:00-8:00pm
FEE TO PARTICIPATE:
- $50 per dancer (New!)
- Fee includes all meetings and rehearsals with Ms. Mary & Mr. Michael
- Fee also includes one ticket to the performance.
- Additional tickets will be available for purchase closer to the date of the performance.
- Enrollment in SDSD in required to participate.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Only up to 30 acts will be included based on a first-come, first-served basis according to the RSVP
- Dancers must choreograph their own piece, organize all of their own at home rehearsals, and coordinate costumes amongst themselves.
- Acts may only be a maximum of 3 minutes in length.
- Only a limited number of singers will be selected to participate based on experience and age.
