Sara is originally from St. Louis Missouri. She started her dance training at the age of 3 studying ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater at St. Louis Academy of Dance. She went on to study at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BFA in dance and minor in Mathematics/Computer Science in 2022. There she studied Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary dance and performed in works by George Balanchine, Adam Barruch, Jenelle Figgins, Wallie Wolfgruber, and William Bryam. She is excited to be teaching as a faculty member this year and to share her love of dance with the incredible dancers at Stage Door School of Dance!
